About a year ago The Crude Pixel was a different sort of site, we had a lot of free time and some high ambitions. We had pages of different sections and a weekly fancily produced podcast where we would formally introduce ourselves like how the big boys do.
That turned out to be quite hard work.
Still some good stuff came out of it and my favourite piece of content has to be this video we put together of three of us playing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 on the PC.
GRAW on the PC was an entirely different beast to its console counterpart, it was tough, deep and very co-op. Interestingly it was made by Grin, the now shut down studio that produced high-octane action titles such as Wanted: Weapons of Fate and the fantastic Bionic Commando: Rearmed.
This video was our humble attempts at trying to produce regular content to quite a high standard. We quickly realised that if we’re not being paid for it, we can’t produce this sort of thing as often as we would like. We might revisit some video work later on down the line but it will be infrequent. For now though, I hope you enjoy this video, we had a lot of fun making it and I still think it’s quite funny:
