I love waiting for games to be released on Steam, it’s like eagerly waiting for games to install. I know that makes me sound a bit sad but I don’t care, I’m a proud nerd.
The game I’m waiting for tonight is Red Orchestra 2 – which about 2 hours ago was aparantly 1 hour away from being released. To keep me occupied during this period I’ve been following the Twitters and the Googles to see what other people in my position are posting on the internets, two things of worth have come up.
Firstly is this blog post from ‘Tripwire Interactive President’:

Quite sweet really, it shows what a good idea and lots of dedication and hard work can achieve. Inspiring stuff.
Secondly there’s this auction on EBay for the autographed Red Orchestra 2 master CD of the soundtrack from composer Sam Hulick:
It’s currently going for $330 – not bad! All the money will go to Childs Play too which is ace.
…waiting…waiting…waiting…OOOH! It’s out!
Remember you can join our Steam Gamers Group for some friendly digital killing.
*UPDATE!
The single player is not so good but I expected that. It’s all about the MP!
