Orbit: Tutorial Level

Here is a draft for an introductory level in the game, here we’re trying to teach super basic concepts to the player. Momentum based movement, environment interaction, colour coding, ‘connected’ level design and gravity. This is probably going to be the last footage from the Construct 2 version of the game as we have begin porting it to Unity. So far the port is going really well and we’re seeing significant performance increases.

Unity also opens up a lot of new options for us and one new area we’re looking into is 2D volumetric lighting. I intend on providing much more frequent and detailed videos documenting our Unity port. We’ve already extended the engine to support 9-slice objects and other things which may be worth ¬†showing.
